Henderson III, CCIM Endowed Scholarship honors John M. Henderson III, CCIM as a long-term member and past president of CCIM New Mexico. He was licensed on June 28, 1971, and obtained his CCIM designation on April 28, 1980 (Pin #1176). He continues to be involved as well as support and promote the value of earning a CCIM designation. The John M. Henderson III, CCIM Endowed Scholarship was created in 2015 by CCIM New Mexico with matching funds provided by CCIM Foundation (CCIM Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The Mission of CCIM Foundation is to advance and foster commercial real estate education through scholarships, programs, and initiatives. Named endowed scholarships honor those who have shown great dedication, commitment, outstanding achievement, and service to the commercial real estate industry. The John M. Robin Dyche, CCIM Endowed Scholarship - $1,000 toward CCIM Core Course The Robin Dyche, CCIM Endowed Scholarship honors Robin Dyche, CCIM as a long-term member and instructor of the CCIM Institute and CCIM New Mexico. He has been in commercial real estate for over 45 years and has been a member of CCIM NM and an Institute instructor since 1980. Robin was recognized as CI 104 Instructor of the Year in 1997 and Instructor of the Year in 1999 by Institute faculty. He was also awarded the Susan Groeneveld CCIM Visionary Award in 2008 and was honored with the Victor Lyon Award for Outstanding Contributions to the CCIM program. CCIM New Mexico Local Scholarship – up to $1,500 toward CCIM Core Course or CCR & Test CCIM New Mexico was founded in 1973 and has more than 80 members and candidates. CCIM New Mexico assists those who are interested in seeking the national Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. CCIM New Mexico also conducts approved real estate courses and seminars for members, local boards of REALTORS, State association of REALTORS, and members of the public. CCIM New Mexico provides a monthly forum for the exchange of information and business development. Scholarship Program Guidelines •Each applicant should be able to demonstrate a commitment to a commercial real estate career (see application). •Each applicant should be able to demonstrate active involvement as a dues-paying member with CCIM New Mexico (see application). •Each applicant will be a Candidate in good standing with both the National CCIM Association and the New Mexico Chapter of CCIM (candidacy does not apply to applicants pursuing CI 101). Deadline for Submission to CCIM New Mexico: 11/08/2024. Scholarship Winners: Each applicant is eligible to be considered for one award which will be announced in December of 2024 or January of 2025. If awarded, the recipient will provide a photo for promotional materials to be used by CCIM New Mexico and the CCIM Foundation. Deadline to Claim Award and Recipient Reimbursement: June 30, 2025. The deadline for recipients to claim scholarship award or show proof of course registration is June 30, 2024. Extenuating circumstances may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Scholarships must be completed during the calendar year in which the scholarship is awarded. Recipient Reimbursement: Recipients must provide proof of course completion and receipts (airfare, hotel, etc.) prior to reimbursement from CCIM New Mexico.
