The CARNM Board has created a Comprehensive Plan Task Force to attend meetings and to stay informed about current issues and complaints voiced at these meetings. Feel free to attend a workshop to stay informed! |
What are the Comprehensive Planning Workshops? |
“ABC to Z” is a two-year project to update the Albuquerque/Bernalillo County Comprehensive Plan and to integrate and simplify the city’s zoning and subdivision regulations to implement the resulting plan.
Key goals of the project are to improve opportunities for economic development and job creation, improve protection for the city’s established neighborhoods, streamline the city’s development review and approval procedures, and respond to long-standing water and traffic challenges by promoting more sustainable development.
Comp Plan workshops are planned for May and June of 2015 in locations throughout the metropolitan area (City and unincorporated Bernalillo County). They will include presentations and visioning activities in small groups. The two workshops in May will have a community-wide focus; the four workshops in June will focus on quadrants of the City. The numbers on the Quadrant Map coordinate with the numbers on the table below.
