Construction tends to ramp up during the summer months, when weather doesn’t impact building progress.

(above) The forthcoming Hotel Chaco in Albuquerque’s Old Town is one of the most significant commercial projects in the city, especially for the tourism industry.
We looked at some of the more significant new construction projects around town, from shopping centers to new medical facilities and entertainment venues.
What’s interesting is how these projects span Albuquerque, from the Westside to Uptown, to the North I-25 area all the way down to the Sunport area.
We included developments that have broken ground and are well underway. This isn’t intended to be an exhaustive list, and doesn’t include some smaller projects.
