According to Facebook, all six buildings will make up one of the most advanced and energy efficient data center facilities in the world, featuring the latest in OCP server, storage, and network designs. It also will be powered with 100 percent clean and renewable energy. Two Albuquerque companies, Affordable Solar and Array Technologies, are installing a 30-megawatt solar project. The buildings will be cooled using outdoor air instead of energy-intensive air conditioners.
